We blocked the 2nd half of the show today. It’s great and it sucks all that the same time. I am still not a dancer and David, our director, LOVES choreography. There is nothing wrong with that, it just takes me longer to pick up – that’s all. David had been very kind though- he offers to change things if they are too difficult, but i have told him I will learn it no matter what…. and he is holding to that. I figure, if I need to learn to dance it might as well be on a show I am in for two months.
On another note… I met up with Clyde tonight and had dinner and drinks (in honor of St. Patty’s Day). Clyde and I have been friends since I transferred to Winthrop back in 2003. I haven’t seen him in years and it was fabulous! He showed me downtown Philly, the masonic temple and the famous “South Street.” It was so good to see him, we caught up on old times what is going on in our lives, and what we want to do. I miss Clyde. I don’t get to see him nearly as much as I want to- so it was great to have dinner with him tonight and to have him drive me around so I could be touristy.
Anyway- things are going well and there is only one way I could be happier. I guess I won’t explain that tonight, but I am loving what I do… and the people I get to see….. I guess that is good enough for now.
