Today we had a show in Miami, our second show in front of kids. This performance went alright, I didn’t feel I was up to par, but the kids ate up our production. They loved it! I think we are starting to gel onstage as a cast and becoming more comfortable with our roles and making them our own.
We headed back to Ft. Lauderdale this afternoon, and went to another local mall to do something in our free time. We had a wonderful time, and a few people bought some stuff (I bought sunglasses).
Jonathan (AKA Papa) bought R. Kelly’s Trapped in the Closet, his “rock opera.” It was more like a comedy, but we had fun mocking R. Kelly and his melodrama. The guy sang everything, even the other characters stuff. It was great fun.
I had to finish putting together all my stuff for Imagination Stage. I am applying for their Technical Apprentice program. I think my essay rocks, so we shall see what happens with it. It’s a 10 month thing, but it’s in DC, so not too far from home.
Jimmy went through his 3rd degree tonight, and I am so proud of him. I am the most proud girl in the world tonight, because I am dating a Master Mason.
Love ~me.
